1974            ■ Kong Hsin Enterprise established in Hougang Street of Shihlin District in Taipei

1975              ■ Produced one-piece ball valve, B100A.

1977            ■ Increased capital and renamed company as Kong Sheng Valve Industrial Co., Ltd.
                         Expanded plant and moved to No.81 Mingzu Road, Danshuei Township, Taipei County.

1981            ■ Developed needle valve, N240A.

1983            ■ Developed one-piece Hexagonal Barstock Ball Valve. Started to accept OEM and ODM orders
                          and exported to the United States.

1984            ■ Developed one-piece Investment Cast Ball Valve.

1985            ■ Developed two-piece Barstock & Investment Cast Ball Valve.

1988            ■ Bought and developed a new factory site in Dajia Youth Industrial Park;
                         Developed Stainless Steel gate, globe and check valves.

1990            ■ Increased capital and established KONG JIH VALVE IND., CO., LTD.
                          The factory moved to No. 13 Gong 6th Road, Dajia Youth Industrial Park, Dajia Township,
                          Taichung County.

1991            ■ Developed flanged-end ball valve.

1994            ■ Assembly conveyor line was introduced and installed.

1995            ■ Implemented ISO-9002 quality assurance system.

1996            ■ Automatic welding robot system was installed;
                          Expanded Plant Two for the production of flanged-end ball valves.

                  Oct. ■ ISO-9002 certified by the Bureau of Standards, Metrology & Inspection,
                          the Ministry of Economic affairs, Taiwan.

1998            ■ Expanded Plant Three for the production of ball valves and more CNC vertical lathes
                          were introduced to the factory.

1999            ■ The second assembly conveyor line was installed.

2000            ■ Renovated two CNC lathes with auto-loading & unloading device.

2001         Oct. ■ ExxonMobil Worldwide Approved Manufacturer List.

                          Showing KONG JIH as the newest approved manufacturer for ball valves.

                  Dec. ■ Our two-piece class 900 ball valve tested to API 607 4th edition in SWRI, San Antonio, U.S.A.

2002       Jan. ■ ISO-9001:2000/CNS 12681 awarded by the Bureau of Standards, Metrology & Inspection,
                          the Ministry of Economic affairs, Taiwan.

               May. ■ ISO-9001:2000 and PED 97/23/EC certified by TUV Rheinland, Germany.

2003               ■ Added two CNC machining centers and a CNC vertical lathe.

2004               ■ Purchased two CNC lathes.

2006               ■ Added two CNC machining centers.

2007               ■ Purchased a multi-purpose  tapping machine and three CNC lathes.

2008               ■ Added an OKUMA horizontal machining center, a horizontal turning machine,
                          and a tool presetter and measuring machine.
